Description
Strategies for Defaulted Loans is designed to give banking professionals a basic understanding of the various options and strategies available to lenders when pursuing collection of defaulted loans. The course includes an overview of the civil litigation process as it relates to mortgage foreclosures, deficiency judgments, enforcement of guaranty agreements and other actions related to loan collection. Attendees will learn how to evaluate loan defaults, prepare the file for collection and select among the various collection/workout alternatives while weighing the cost/benefit of each.
