TechHire Program

The TechHire program is a job training grant program that helps young adults overcome barriers to employment by providing free job training that includes technical skills, job searches, resume writing, interviewing and career advisement. The program is a collaboration between The Center For Financial Training International, Miami Dade College and the US Department of Labor.

The program also prepares students for a paid, 300-hour internship in the financial services industry. The long-lasting connections made from the internship aid student success. Participants earn the Universal Banker Certificate from the American Bankers Association and take a Principles of Banking course before the commencement of the internship.
