Description
This course examines how compliance with the Bank Bribery Act prevents corrupt activities within banks. Compliance professionals will learn about the background and purpose of the Act, and their role in ensuring compliance. The course reviews the importance of a financial institution’s code of conduct, or similar policy, in relation to the prohibition against bribery, the prohibitions of the Bank Bribery Act, and the disclosure and reporting requirements published by the regulatory agencies.

Keith Monson serves as CSI’s chief risk officer. In this role, Keith maintains an enterprise-wide compliance framework for risk assessment and reporting, as well as other key components of CSI’s corporate compliance program. With over 30 years of banking experience, he has a wide range of experience in the compliance arena, having served as a chief compliance officer for both large and small financial institutions.
Keith served as a Director for the Missouri Bankers Association where he was the Chairman of the Regulatory Affairs Committee. He is also a past Chairman of the MBA’s Compliance Committee. Keith also served as a Chairman of the CRCM Advisory Board and was a former member of the Certification Council for the Institute of Certified Bankers.
In addition, Keith recently served as the Co-Chairman of the Enterprise Risk Management Working Group and has written for and served as the Chairman of the Editorial Advisory Board – Bank Compliance Magazine and was a past member of the Compliance Executive Committee and the Regulatory Compliance Conference Advisory Committee for the American Bankers Association.
